Other interesting Summerland features include the Trout Hatchery, Ornamental Gardens, local museum, and the art gallery. Drive almost to the top of Giant’s Head Mountain and walk the short trail to its summit, where a magnificent 360º view of Summerland awaits you. Consider taking a historical ride aboard the famous Kettle Valley Steam Train which travels upon 16 kilometers of KVR track that avoided post 1989 decommission and dismantle efforts, and has remained intact to this day since the line’s commencement in 1910. |

At The Heritage House 1907 B&B, each adult orientated suite has hardwood floors and is decorated with antique and rose motif. Freshly ironed sheets and large comforters make the beds feel heavenly. All rooms are windowed, air-conditioned and spacious. Moonlight Rose features a handsome 4-poster queen-size canopy bed with oversized comforters and sunrise facing windows. Victorian Rose also has a queen size canopy bed as well as a couch and library in its sitting area. Blushing Rose offers a queen sized bed. Each suite has its own private bathroom with tub and/or shower, mini fridge, bath robes, coffee/tea self service, and cable TV/VCR. |

Lesley & Michael serve up a spectacular morning meal in their early 1900s period attire that will impress and stimulate your eyes as well as your taste buds. You will receive a healthy serving that is very gratifying in taste, size and proportion. Fresh juice is offered in gracious quantity, and oh-boy do these folks know how to make a great cup of coffee! Heritage packages can be arranged with the Kettle Valley Steam Railway & Zia’s Stonehouse Restaurant.
