Imagine yourself sitting out on a private deck on a warm summer evening with a glass of wine from a local vineyard, or some fresh squeezed juice from a local orchard or a morning coffee or tea - all the while engaging in stimulating conversation with your knowledgeable Hosts, Sue and Dann. Mid conversation it is easy to catch yourself wandering captivated by the picture perfect view across Lake Okanagan, into Kelowna, and into the hills beyond. This is only a glimpse of the experience awaiting you when you visit with A View to Remember Bed and Breakfast. When you stay at this B & B it is so easy to leave the daily schedules and routines behind so then, everything begins to slow down.

A View to Remember, Kelowna’s original B & B, is located in the heart of the Okanagan Valley in Southern British Columbia close to both Kelowna, BC and the community of Westbank, BC. If you are up for some fun and entertainment, head into Westbank BC or Kelowna BC for some fine dining, or a casual stroll along the lakeshore, warm up to a round of golf, take in a movie or a concert, go horseback riding, or hiking in one of the surrounding Provincial Parks. One of the more popular nearby attractions are the Kettle Valley Rail Trail, the wineries, Nut Farms and orchards and the nearby ski and hiking hills. If wine tasting is on your list, take a stroll down the street to Little Straw Vineyards or let your Hosts, Sue and Dann, arrange a customized wine tour for you. If you need some advice on what’s available or where to go, your Hosts are a wealth of information and can point you in the right direction.

After a day of touring and exploring, you can look forward to a night in your comfortable and beautifully detailed suite. If it is romance and old-world charm you are after, there is the Victoria Suite with its four poster bed and antique furnishings. If you need a bit more room, then the elegant Okanagan Suite is the one for you. This charming room has two queen beds and an ensuite with a shower and bath. If you lean towards the nautical and coastal feel, then the Vancouver Suite is what you want. All Suites are air conditioned, have a sitting area, cable TV, fridge, microwave, coffee/tea service, a private ensuite with hair dryer, and to top it off, luxurious duvets to loose your self in. Falling a sleep will not be a problem, waking up and getting out of the comfortable beds may become an issue.

The Bed and Breakfast accommodation enjoys spanning views of the valley, and has quick access to most of the activities and amenities found in and around the Okanagan Valley. After settling into one of the exquisite guest suites, your Hosts will provide you with a quick orientation of the area providing the necessary literature to get you to your activities in time, share some great local stories and offer a welcoming beverage of choice. Outside take some quiet time and wander in the English garden or relax in the gazebo with an engaging book. All guests suites have a private entrance so you can explore and come and go on a whim at any time. Mornings bring the aroma of Sue’s secret blend of coffee. A sure fire way to lure you out of your room for breakfast, which is served in the bright and spacious kitchen or out on the private patio in the summer.

Either way, you will have a hard time deciding whether to look at the outstanding view over the Lake, or totally lose yourself in the enjoyment of Sue’s scrumptious signature breakfast. Sue and Dann’s sense of professionalism and passion show in every aspect of their B & B. We are sure you will agree that after visiting and staying at A View to Remember, you will be back again the next time you are in the neighbourhood and again and again. Thank you Sue and Dann.
