Okanagan Valley Golf Courses and Golfing

Courses in the Okanagan Valley are well recognized by many golfers to be some
of the best courses in British Columbia, Canada because of the scenery, challenge
and variety.
There
are 9-hole and 18-hole golf courses throughout the region. Some
courses are high end professional golf clubs while others are more laid back,
recreational golf courses.
However
you look at it, there are plenty of them. The high number of courses provides
endless hours of golfing for any traveler. In
some areas of the valley you can tee up at 3-5 courses within a 2 hour drive.
There
are golf courses set on the shores of lakes, some sit in desert country, others
rest next door to wineries and a few are under looming mountains.
The winter and early spring seasons bring bouts
of rain and snow. But when the weather breaks, golfers are out in the sun putting
and driving away.
Golf course services vary with most supplying
golf carts, golf equipment for purchase, golf club rentals, etc. The larger
golfing facilities are equipped with onsite Golf Pros for lessons, accommodations,
restaurants, lounges and some facilities have live entertainment.
