Heritage Park
Peachland

Heritage Park is a sleeve of green space on the shores of Okanagan Lake in the heart of downtown Peachland, British Columbia, Canada. The park is situated on an open grass lawn with views of Okanagan Lake fronted by a totem pole. The park is near a wharf and is an ideal spot to observe the water activities on the lake.

The park is a popular destination for families and includes a playground, picnic tables, a picnic shelter and sitting benches.. Washrooms are located across the street in the museum.

At one time the park was the site of a fruit cannery. In 1955 the cannery closed its doors. In 1979 the cannery caught on fire and burned to the ground. In its place the locals banned together and built a community park. The park was a welcome addition compared to the old rusted and abandoned cannery.

How to Get to Heritage Park: Travel into the downtown core of Peachland BC by the shores of Okanagan Lake. The park is located in the south end of town by the museum. It is easily seen from the road.
