Not only does Penticton have some of the finest
stretches of fresh water sandy beaches in BC, there
is also a vast assortment of outdoor eco adventures to get the
blood pumping when visiting the region. Many arrive to relax on
the beaches, but others also come to mountain bike, kite surf,
cycle, kayak, canoe, hike, backpack, rock climb, house boat, golf,
fish, channel tube, water skiing and others.

One of the major draws to area is the 1100 to 4000 foott high
trail system crossing over wooden tressels called the
(KVR) Kettle
Valley Trail looking down over the Okanagan Valley.
And many come to explore some of the beautiful parks in the area
like the massive Okanagan Mountain Park and
Okanagan
Falls Park.

The winter months turns Penticton alpie mountains and mid mountain
slopes into top notch winter destinations for snowmobiling, alpine
skiing, snow shoeing, snow boarding, and cross country skiing.
