Okanagan Valley Channel Tubing

Channel Tubing or Rafting is a popular leisurely activity enjoyed in the Okanagan Valley every year. The art of tubing or rafting is more of a relaxing water tour that takes little effort. Channel Tubing is a couch potatoe's dream come true drifting down on water with little or no effort involved minus the remote control. The channel of water that connects Skaha Lake and the Okanagan Lake together has become a sighseeing passageway that accommodates, entertains and guides all shapes and sizes of tubes and floatation devices down the channel, casually drifting during the spring and summer months. There are rental companies mainly in Penticton that rent out Tubes and put you through a tough tubing boot camp offering instructions on how to float if you have never floated before (just joking). It is so easy and only a few bucks to rent a tube and your in the water. No boot camp. There is even a bus shuttle service that brings you back if you want to do it again. Enjoy Tubing the Okanagan eh! |
