trails range from easy walking along waterfront pathways located
in the Okanagan Valley communities to the rugged outdoor wilderness
camping hiking, backpacking, caving, mountain climbing trails designed
to venture far into the wilderness suitable for the rugged and determined
adventurer.

Trails have viewing areas, washrooms and parking
lots. The Okanagan Valley trail system attracts naturalists, recreational
hikers, photographers, writers and artists to the parks for a chance
to capture a special wilderness moment in time. As seasons change
some of the hiking trails are used for horseback riding, cross-country
skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and mountain biking.

in the Okanagan Valley are family oriented and many offer the best
views like the KVR (Kettle Valley Railway Trail) providing kilometres
of easy, scenic hiking. Also the Ellis Ridge Trail, Blue Mountain
or Okanagan Highlands Trail... the list goes on and on.
Always
wear good footwear, proper clothing and pack plenty of water for
the hike when exploring in June, July and August prepare for weather.
