| Okanagan Lake Provincial Park is an easy access campground and picnic park located north of the community of Summerland, British Columbia, Canada. The park was established in 1955 and rests on the west side of Okanagan Lake. It is one of the easy access parks located just off of Highway #97 in the Okanagan Valley. Okanagan Lake Park is a 98 ha park attracting visitors every year to the region. The park is a very popular recreation destination. The activities enjoyed in the park and on the lake include swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, water skiing, hiking and windsurfing. The large campground in the park is ideal for all types of camping including RVing and tenting. The Okanagan Lake Park campground is divided into two sections. Amenities in the park include a day use area, hot showers, flush and pit toilets, boat launch, change rooms, running water and amphitheatre. The Okanagan Lake sandy beach is a big attraction for many who visit the park. Within the park are a few hiking trails for the active. One trail is a short 1 kilometre hike connecting the two campgrounds. On this trail are few interpretive signs. Some, of which, explain the over 10,000 exotic trees located within the park including Lombardy Popular, Norway Maple and Russian Olive. Because the park is an easy access park and has many amenities it is important to make reservations before arriving at the park.
