How to get to Vernon B.C. by vehicle:

Vancouver, B.C., Canada | Seattle & Bellingham, Washington, U.S.A.: Enjoy the drive along the #1 Hwy from Vancouver, BC to the junction in Hope, B.C., Canada. From Hope there are 3 highways that will connect you to the Okanagan Valley ( #3 Hwy, #5 Hwy, #1 Hwy). Highway #3 is the route we prefer connecting to Kelowna and onto Vernon.

Calgary, Alberta, Canada: Take the #1 Hwy through Banff National Park into the province of British Columbia. Along the way watch for road signs to Vernon, BC via Hwy#97. Continue south along Hwy #97 to Vernon, B.C.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada: Take Hwy #16 towards Jasper National Park. Just outside of the borders of the park and once you have entered the province of British Columbia follow Hwy #5 to Vernon, BC.

Spokane Washington, USA: Follow Hwy #395 onto Hwy#3 or take the Hwy #97 route from Central Washington State deep into Canada's true desert country through the towns of Osoyoos, Oliver, Penticton, Summerland, Peachland and Westbank, B.C., Canada eventually arriving in Vernon B.C. at the top of the Okanagan Valley.
