| Rotary Trails Park is a gravel and boardwalk trail neighbouring Powers Creek, exploring the shores of Okanagan Lake in the community of Westbank (Westside), British Columbia, Canada in the Okanagan Valley. The nature trail is a popular walking route and picnic site. The park consists of a short easy-grade walking trail that explores rows and groves of trees while providing lake views. The pathway includes many natural viewing areas of Powers Creek and of Okanagan Lake. The local Rotary Club has constructed picnic shelters and picnic tables in the park. The boardwalk portion of the trail, which keeps feet dry and protects the sensitive flora and fauna, was built by the Rotarians. The May Hayman Memorial Bridge is a highlight on the trail. . Near the Rotary Trails Park is a boat launch, a yacht club and the Gellatly Bay Aquatic Park. Further down the road, south of Rotary Trails Park, is the Gellatly Nut Farm. Rotary Trails Park: Travel to the community of Westbank located south of Kelowna. In Westbank, from Highway #97, turn south onto Gellatly Road. At the lake the road forks, stay left and continue on Boucherie Road. Continue to the entrance and gravel parking lot by Powers Creek. |
